ASUS has launched the new ASUS Zenbook S16. In terms of features, the laptop offers a 16-inch display with 3K resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processor, an AiSense IR camera, six built-in speakers, and more. As per the company, the laptop has a sturdy all-metal body with a tactile Ceraluminum finish. It also comes with a newly designed EasyLift hinge that offers the right balance of torque and stability.
Samsung Electronics unveiled a 130-inch Micro RGB TV at the Consumer Electronics Show 2026, claimed to be the world’s first of its kind. It is worth noting that Micro RGB is a display technology that uses individually controlled red, green and blue LEDs at the pixel level, instead of a traditional white backlight with colour filters. As per the tech giant, the launch marks Samsung’s largest Micro RGB display to date and introduces a new design approach for its premium television lineup. Not to be held back, LG had one of its own unique offering - the LG OLED OLED evo W6 True Wireless Wallpaper TV. The LG evo W6 is designed with a 9mm-class thin profile and supports wireless transmission of video and audio. According to the company, the TV is equipped with Hyper Radiant Color Technology along with Brightness Booster Ultra, which LG claims enables luminance levels of up to 3.9 times higher than conventional OLED TVs.
Some interesting tech on the smartphone front at the CES. Alongside the Motorola Razr Fold, the smartphone brand has announced the Motorola Signature at CES 2026. Key features of the phone include up to seven years of Android OS and security upgrades, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, 90W charging, and much more. Notably, the smartphone has been launched for the global market. There is no confirmation yet, but the smartphone might come to India soon.
Launched ahead of the CES, Clicks Technology showcased its compact smartphone designed primarily for communication. Called the Clicks Communicator, the phone features a physical 4.03-inch AMOLED display and a QWERTY keyboard.
Boston Dynamics, a subsidiary of Hyundai, gave a glimpse of its humanoid robot "Atlas" as part of it CES 2026 tech showcase. This development, hots up the competition in the humanoid robotics space where Tesla and a few other players have already made some significant strides.
What's more interesting is? A version of Atlas robot to help with car assembly is already in production and will be deployed at Hyundai's Savannah EV plant in 2028.
