Following the announcement of Samsung's 130-inch Micro RGB TV, tech giant LG showcased the OLED evo W6 True Wireless Wallpaper TV at CES 2026. The LG OLED evo W6 is designed with a 9mm-class thin profile and supports wireless transmission of video and audio.

According to the company, the TV is equipped with Hyper Radiant Color Technology along with Brightness Booster Ultra, which LG claims enables luminance levels of up to 3.9 times higher than conventional OLED TVs.

Notably, the OLED evo W6 marks the return of LG’s Wallpaper TV design that was initially introduced in 2017. The company mentioned that this iteration combines the form factor with True Wireless connectivity and updated display processing.

LG stated that the newly announced Wallpaper TV is powered by the α 11 AI Processor Gen3 processor, which includes a Neural Processing Unit that the company claims is 5.6 times more powerful than the previous generation. It also supports a Dual AI Engine, which processes noise reduction and image detail enhancement in parallel.

The company also confirmed that the OLED evo W6 supports 4K resolution with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The TV is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium, and includes Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), resulting in reduced input lag during gaming.

The tech giant stated that Hyper Radiant Color Technology is intended to improve black levels, colour output, and brightness, while reducing screen reflections.

The OLED evo W6 also includes LG Gallery+, which allows the TV to display images when not in active use. The service includes more than 4,500 visuals, along with support for personal photo libraries and images generated using generative AI. Additionally, the TV integrates Multi-AI features with support for Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot.
