As we have stepped into the new year, the spree of smartphone launches has begun in India. Following the launch of Redmi and Realme smartphones so far, smartphone brand OPPO has announced the OPPO Reno 15, alongside the OPPO Reno 15 Pro, OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini, and OPPO Reno 15C, for Indian consumers.

Notably, the OPPO Reno 15 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, a 50MP triple rear camera setup, a 6,500mAh battery with 80W charging, and more. Here are the complete details of the newly announced OPPO Reno 15.

OPPO Reno 15 price in India, colours, availability

The OPPO Reno 15 starts at Rs 45,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant, while the 12GB+256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 48,999. On the other hand, the top-end variant with 12GB+512GB storage has been launched at Rs 53,999.

To recall, the OPPO Reno 14 was announced in India at Rs 37,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant.

The newly announced smartphone comes in three colour options: Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Twilight Blue. It will be available starting January 13 through OPPO’s online store, Amazon, and Flipkart.

OPPO Reno 15 specifications

The OPPO Reno 15 features an aerospace-grade aluminium frame. It packs a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, similar to the OPPO Reno 14, along with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

This standard model is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which is positioned as a mid-range processor. The predecessor, however, was powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, which is said to be comparatively better than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC.

The all-new OPPO Reno 15 flaunts a triple rear camera setup.

The OPPO Reno 15 houses a large 6,500mAh battery, which is an upgrade over the predecessor, with support for 80W SuperVOOC charging. The smartphone runs Android 16-based ColorOS 16.

The phone comes with strong protection against water and dust with an IP69 rating, indicating it is fully dustproof and can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.

In terms of optics, the smartphone sports a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP 3.5x telephoto sensor, and an 8MP ultrawide camera at the rear. On the front, the OPPO Reno 15 packs a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls.
