Smartphone brand Realme has launched its much anticipated Realme 16 Pro series in India. The series comprises of two phones - Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+. Key features include a 200MP LumaColor Portrait Camera, a 7,000mAh battery and more. While the Pro variant packs a MediaTek Chipset, the Pro+ comes equipped with Snapdragon chipset.
At the launch, the company has revealed the price and specifications of the newly announced Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+. Here’s what we know about it.
The Realme 16 Pro comes in three storage variants 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB, priced at Rs 31,999, Rs 33,999 and Rs 36,999, respectively. The Realme 16 Pro+ is priced at Rs 39,999, Rs 41,999 and Rs 44,999, respectively for the 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB, respectively.
These smartphones will be available on Realme’s official site, retail stores and Flipkart. Users can also get some discount on the phones as part of launch offers on both online and online stores.
The Realme 16 Pro comes in Master Gold, Pebble Grey and Orchid Purple colours, the Pro+ variant flaunts Master Gold, Master Grey and Camellia Pink colours.
The Realme 16 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 6500 nits peak brightness, and is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max , which is said to offer strong performance for mainstream smartphones.
On the other hand, the Realme 16 Pro+ boasts a 6.8-inch 1.5K HyperGlow 4D Curve+ display with up to 144Hz refresh rate and offers 6500 nit peak brightness. It packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and pairs with Rocket LPDDR5X RAM, which supports read and write speeds of up to 8,400Mbps. The company says this setup improves multitasking performance, on-device AI image processing, and gaming stability.
While the Pro variant sports an OIS-enabled 200MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, the Pro+ variant has a 200MP primary sensor, an 8MP sensor and a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto sensor. The Realme 16 Pro supports up to 4K video recording at 30fps and the Realme 16 Pro+ offers up to 4K video recording at 60fps. Both smartphones flaunt a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
These Realme 16 Pro series smartphones offer a whooping 7,000mAh and an AirFlow VC Cooling System to prevent overheating. They also pack IP69 rating, offering protection against dust and high-pressure water jets. According to the company, the phones can withstand water exposure at temperatures of up to 80°C and also support underwater photography.
