Recently, weight management consultant Neha Parihar took to her Instagram account (@growithneha) and shared five foods that should be taken on an empty stomach as they will help you achieve your weight-loss goals in an effective manner.

She said, “if you want to reset the weight you gained this year — the right way, starting with your mornings. Most year-end weight gain doesn’t happen because you “overate once.” It happens because mornings go wrong → cravings spike → energy crashes → fat storage stays ON.”

The fitness expert suggested 5 things to have on empty stomach if your target is faster fat loss and flatter belly in the next few weeks. Read on to find out about the foods:  

1. Soaked Almonds or Walnuts

The nuts offer healthy fats and adequate protein. Walnuts and almonds can alleviate mid-morning cravings and sugar spikes.

2. Amla Shot

Consuming amla on empty stomach will help in boosting metabolism, support digestion, and enhance fat oxidation. Amla is a rich source of vitamin C, antioxidants, and fiber that can offer advantages such as better immunity, improved digestion, stronger hair, shiny skin, etc. It also supports heart health by regulating cholesterol, controls blood sugar, and offers anti-inflammatory and anti-aging qualities. It helps in supporting your weight-loss journey.  

3. Brazil Nut

They are the nutritional powerhouse and emerged a rich source of selenium content that can support brain health, thyroid function, and immunity. 4. Warm Turmeric With Black Pepper Water
