IFA 2026 has showcased new laptops from Lenovo, Acer, ASUS, TECNO and Dell across different price and performance segments.
The lineup includes lightweight laptops, creator-focused machines, 2-in-1s and models with a greater focus on repairability.
Several models are yet to have pricing or India availability confirmed, so specifications alone may not make them immediate buying options.
IFA 2026 is being held in Berlin from 4 to 8 September, with brands showcasing a mix of new laptops across different price segments. This year, the focus is not just on gaming laptops, but also on lighter, more affordable and more repairable Windows machines.
At the accessible end, brands are taking on Apple's MacBook Neo with full-metal 14-inch laptops. Acer has come up with the new Swift Blade 14, which weighs just 799 grams. Lenovo's IdeaPad Vibe starts at $699 (around ₹66,033), while Dell has the Dell 14S in the same space for students.
At the other end, NVIDIA's RTX Spark is showing up in slim creator laptops, including Lenovo's Yoga Pro 9n and ASUS' ProArt P14 and P16. However, pricing and availability for these are still to be announced.
There are also a few machines in the middle that I find more interesting than another concept. Acer's Vero 16 can be opened without a toolkit, while Tecno has shown its first 360-degree Megabook laptops.
Take a look at what was actually shown at IFA 2026, and which of these laptops are worth keeping an eye on if they launch in India.
Acer Swift Blade 14 makes its IFA 2026 debut as a lightweight 14-inch laptop.
The Acer Swift Blade 14 (SFB14-53CF) is a 14-inch travel-focused model, and at 799 grams, it is one of the lightest laptops in this lineup. It is 12.9mm thick with the OLED configuration, going up to 13.5mm depending on the panel. The C cover uses magnesium-aluminium, while the A and D covers are made from carbon fibre. It is available in Marshmallow Blue and Marshmallow White.
It runs Windows 11 Home and is powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors, with options going up to Core 7 350. Core 5 320 / 315 and Core 3 304 are also listed. Graphics are handled by Intel Graphics. Memory goes up to 12GB LPDDR5-6400, onboard, while storage goes up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe.
The 14-inch display uses a 16:10 aspect ratio, with Acer claiming a 90% screen-to-body ratio. There are three options:
OLED 2880×1800, 100% DCI-P3, 400 nits, 90Hz
OLED 1920×1200, 100% DCI-P3, 300 nits, 60Hz
IPS 1920×1200, 45% NTSC, up to 300 nits, 60Hz
The laptop has a 50Wh battery with fast-charge support. For connectivity, there are two full-function USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port for data only, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
You also get a 2MP FHD camera with a physical switch on the chassis and a backlit keyboard.
The main thing I would keep an eye on here is the 12GB onboard memory. That is the maximum, so it is worth considering carefully if you plan to keep the laptop for several years.
Acer’s Swift Air 16 is the larger 16-inch laptop in the company’s IFA 2026 lineup.
The Acer Swift Air 16 (SFA16-I31 / SFA16-I31T) is the 16-inch option for everyday use. It weighs 1.5kg and is 13.3–13.5mm thick. The chassis is all-aluminium and comes in Elemental Blue, Sage Green and Sandstone Gold.
It uses the same Core Series 3 processor range, going up to Core 7 350. Acer claims up to 40 platform TOPS, along with a dedicated NPU. Graphics are handled by Intel Graphics. Memory goes up to 16GB LPDDR5x onboard, while storage goes up to 512GB PCIe Gen 4 onboard. Acer says the chassis also supports an additional drive of up to 1TB.
There are three 16-inch 16:10 display options:
OLED 2880×1800, 100% DCI-P3, 500 nits, 120Hz, non-touch
OLED 1920×1200, 100% DCI-P3, 300 nits, 60Hz, non-touch
IPS 1920×1200, 100% sRGB, 400 nits, 60Hz, multi-touch
The battery is larger than the one on the Swift Blade 14, at 70Wh. Acer claims 50% charge in 30 minutes using a 100W adapter.
Port selection includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port and a combo audio jack. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
The laptop has a 1080p IR camera with a shutter and Windows Hello support. There are also quad speakers with DTS Virtual, a 180-degree hinge and a backlit keyboard.
Acer Vero 16 focuses on easier access and repairability alongside its new hardware.
The Acer Vero 16 (V16-I71 / V16-I71T) is the one I would pay attention to if the plan is to keep the laptop for a long time. The bottom panel has a tool-free latch, and both the battery and SSD are user-replaceable. Acer has also used a detachable hinge and removable I/O covers, while a service map is engraved on the chassis.
Acer says the laptop is designed to support processor upgrades across at least two generations. It also carries an MIL-STD-810H rating.
The top and palm rest use 50% PIR aluminium and 50% low-carbon aluminium, while the bottom uses 60% PCR plastic. The bezels use 30% PCR plastic.
It runs Windows 11 Home, with Copilot+ support on the relevant SKUs. Processor options go up to the Core Ultra X9 388H, with Ultra X7 358H, Ultra 9 386H and Ultra 7 355 also listed, along with Ultra 5 325 / 322. Graphics options include Intel Arc B390 or Intel Graphics. Acer claims up to 180 platform TOPS on the top-end chip.
Memory goes up to 32GB LPDDR5X, while storage goes up to 512GB PCIe Gen 4.
The 16-inch OLED display is available in three configurations:
2880×1800, 100% DCI-P3, native 400 nits (True Black HDR 500 peak), 120Hz, non-touch
1920×1200, 100% DCI-P3, 300 nits, 60Hz, non-touch
1920×1200 touch, 95% DCI-P3, 250 nits, 60Hz
The laptop uses a 71Wh four-cell battery with fast charging. It weighs 1.56kg and measures 359.45 × 247 × 11–15.9mm.
For ports, you get two Thunderbolt 4, USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 with power-off charging, HDMI 2.1, an SD card reader and a combo audio jack. Wireless connectivity includes Intel Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.6.
There is also a 5MP IR camera with a shutter, dual anti-vibration speakers with DTS Virtual, a backlit keyboard, Acer MyKey and AcerSense.
Acer Aspire G 3D 16 brings naked-eye 3D to a 16-inch laptop.
The Aspire G 3D 16 (AG3D16-81M) is built around one feature -- naked-eye 3D. It uses dual eye-tracking cameras to convert supported 2D material, while SpatialLabs 3D Hub comes preloaded. Acer also makes it clear that 3D requires compatible hardware, software and content.
The laptop is powered by the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with Radeon 8060S graphics and up to 126 overall TOPS. Memory goes up to 128GB LPDDR5X-8000, while storage goes up to 2TB M.2 PCIe Gen 4.
The 16-inch IPS display has a 3840×2400 resolution, which becomes 1920×2400 in 3D mode. It uses a 16:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and 450 nits brightness.
A 99.9Wh battery powers the laptop, while the bundled adapter is rated at 230W. The machine weighs around 1.8kg and measures 355 × 264.9 × 19.3mm. The chassis comes in Meteorite Gray metal.
Port selection includes two USB4 ports, USB-A Gen 2, two USB-A Gen 1, HDMI 2.1, SD 4.0, a combo audio jack and RJ-45. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
There is also a 5MP + IR camera, an RGB keyboard with red WASD keys and an optional fingerprint reader in the power button.
Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe is a new Windows laptop lineup showcased at IFA 2026.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe (14-inch and 15-inch) is touted as the Neo-class Windows box. It has a metal chassis and is as thin as 14.9mm. The official starting weight is 1.3kg for the 14-inch model and 1.5kg for the 15-inch model.

The laptop can be used in Laptop, Tablet, Tent, Stand and Canvas modes.
The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 9 brings the Snapdragon X2 Plus platform to the ThinkBook series.
The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 9 is the Arm-based ThinkBook shown at the event. It has a 14-inch display with a WUXGA resolution and 400 nits brightness, with touch available as an option. The laptop is about 17.7mm thick and starts at 1.3kg.

There is no Thunderbolt or USB4. Instead, the laptop gets two USB-C ports at 10Gbps, HDMI 2.1 with support for up to 4K/60 and two USB-A ports. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 at 160MHz.
The ASUS ProArt P16 is the 16-inch creator laptop ASUS has put on the Spark platform. NVIDIA RTX Spark pairs a Blackwell GPU with 6,144 cores and a Grace CPU with up to 20 cores. The company claims up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and up to 128GB of unified memory.
ASUS also mentions support for 120-billion-parameter models, 90GB-plus 3D scenes and 4K AI video. These are company claims, so I would not treat them as measured performance.
The laptop is 12.9mm thick and weighs 1.77kg. It has a 99Wh battery and a CNC chassis available in Nano Black and Neo White. ASUS says it is 14% thinner and 9% lighter than the previous P16, and calls it the thinnest 16-inch ProArt laptop it has shipped.
Notably, the display is a Lumina Pro OLED panel with Delta E under 1, anti-reflection and up to 1,600 nits brightness. The top-end configuration gets a 4K 120Hz VRR panel with G-SYNC. There is also a Haptic Pad.
ASUS ProArt P16 and ProArt P14 creator laptops powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark, showcased at IFA 2026.
The ASUS ProArt P14 uses the same NVIDIA RTX Spark platform as the P16, with the same Blackwell GPU and Grace CPU setup. It also gets the same software lineup.
At 1.48kg, it is lighter than the P16 and measures 13.9mm thick. The battery is 90Wh, and ASUS calls it the lightest ProArt laptop so far. It is available in Nano Black and Neo White.
The ASUS P14 uses the same Lumina Pro OLED display family, but the resolution goes up to 3K, rather than 4K on the ASUS P16.
ASUS Zenbook 14 is a slim everyday laptop with OLED display and multiple processor options.
The ASUS Zenbook 14 is the company's everyday thin laptop, rather than one of the Spark machines. It has a lightweight all-metal design with a Ceraluminum lid, which is available in Komodo Coral, Arctic Blue and Zabriskie Beige.
Processor options include Snapdragon X, Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series. ASUS pairs these with an OLED display and positions the laptop around everyday productivity, portability and AI features.
The company also highlights long battery life and a range of connectivity options, along with features aimed at work and collaboration. The company has not listed the weight, battery capacity or detailed display specifications in this IFA release, so I would not add those numbers here.
ASUS ExpertBook Ultra is a lightweight business laptop with a magnesium-aluminium chassis.
The ASUS ExpertBook Ultra is the more business-focused laptop in the lineup. It starts at just 0.99kg and uses a CNC-engineered magnesium-aluminium chassis with 9H-hardness Nano Ceramic technology. ASUS is positioning it for professionals who want a lightweight machine without giving up business-focused features.
It can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processor, Intel Arc Pro graphics and Intel vPro. ASUS ExpertCool Pro supports up to 50W TDP, which is aimed at maintaining performance during heavier workloads.
The 14-inch display is a 3K tandem OLED touchscreen with up to 1,400 nits HDR brightness. It also gets Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with Gorilla Matte to reduce reflections. For audio, ASUS has used a six-speaker Dolby Atmos setup.
The laptop has a 70Wh battery, with ASUS claiming up to 26 hours of battery life. On the security side, ExpertBook Ultra gets ASUS ExpertGuardian, including post-quantum cryptography and firmware security compliant with NIST SP 800-193.
Dell 14S is a lightweight 14-inch aluminium laptop aimed at students and everyday use.
The Dell 14S is the company's affordable aluminium 14-inch laptop for students, and is 13.5mm thick and weighs 1.15kg. There are four colour options -- Linen, Dusty Rose, Washed Denim and Velvet Green.
It comes with Intel Core 5 and Core 7 Series 3 processors and Intel graphics. There are two 16:10 display options: 2.8K at 120Hz or 2K at 60Hz for the variant aimed at longer battery life. Dell calls both displays bright, but does not list their brightness or colour coverage in the information provided here.
Battery life is the headline feature. Dell claims up to 21 hours of Netflix playback on a single charge, using a 750ED PNCM high-density cell. However, the footnote on the same page tests an Intel Core 5 320, Intel Graphics, FHD, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration at 150 nits and refers to FHD local video playback, not Netflix. So, I would treat the 21-hour figure as Dell’s claim and keep the tested configuration in mind.
Every unit gets Windows Hello, an FHD camera, far-field dual microphones and stereo speakers. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, two USB-C ports with power delivery, HDMI and a headphone jack.
Tecno Megabook T15 360 and T15 360 Pro bring a 360-degree hinge and touchscreen to the company’s laptop lineup.
The new laptop Tecno has launched at IFA is the Megabook T15 360 series, which includes the T15 360 and T15 360 Pro. This is its first laptop with a 360-degree hinge and touchscreen. The Tecno K15S WCL and T17 Ultra were only shown on the same stand.
Both machines share the same all-metal CNC chassis. The lid turns a full circle, giving you Laptop, Tablet, Tent and Stand modes. The panel is 15.6-inch, 16:9, with 10-point touch. An MPP 2.0 pen is optional and is not included in the box.
The main difference is the screen. The T15 360 uses a Full HD panel at 60Hz and 320 nits, while the T15 360 Pro steps up to 2560×1440, 120Hz, 100% sRGB and 350 nits. If the convertible design is the main reason you are looking at this laptop, I would not settle for the 320-nit 60Hz panel.
Performance is listed as a series range rather than as two different chips. It goes up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H, with LPDDR5X memory running at up to 7467MHz. Storage uses a PCIe M.2 2280 SSD, with a second M.2 slot on selected configurations.
Both models have a 70Wh battery and a compact 65W PD GaN charger.
Connectivity includes up to Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and seven built-in ports for displays, storage and everyday accessories. You also get a backlit keyboard with a separate number pad, a fingerprint sensor in the power button, dual speakers with DTS:X Ultra, a webcam and dual digital microphones.
