The Xiaomi 17 series India launch is set for this month, and alongside it, the company will unveil the Xiaomi Pad 8. This is now official, as Xiaomi has created a dedicated microsite for the upcoming tablet, which also states some of the Xiaomi Pad 8 specifications.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 is launching globally as well as in India on February 28. People residing in India can watch the live stream of the event at 6:30 PM (IST).
The Amazon microsite not only reveals some key specifications but also suggests that it will be available via the e-commerce platform in India.
The microsite shows the Xiaomi Pad 8 in a shade of blue, suggesting it will be offered in the Ice Crystal Blue colour option, which was introduced in China.

The microsite confirms that the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 8 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
This chipset is said to be a premium sub-flagship processor and is also equipped in phones like the Nothing Phone 3 and POCO F7, among others.
Additionally, the listing also reveals a 9,200mAh battery. However, the charging speed hasn't been listed yet, but the Chinese variant offers up to 45W charging support.
However, these specifications align with the Chinese variant of the Xiaomi Pad 8.
If the company retains the same features for the global variant, it will include an 11.2-inch 144Hz LCD display with HDR10, Dolby Vision, TUV low blue light certification, and more.
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Pad 8 rear camera might include a 13MP sensor and an 8MP sensor on the front.
In China, the Xiaomi Pad 8 price starts at 2,199 CNY (approx. Rs 28,900) for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant. While this price is specifically for the Chinese market, it suggests that the tablet might launch in India for around or under Rs 30,000.
To recall, the Xiaomi Pad 7 was launched in India at Rs 27,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant.
