Following a tip regarding the India launch of the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, a tipster has now revealed the tipped prices of these smartphones, which are already official in China. Both phones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and are touted to be high-end smartphones. Let us take a look at the tipped prices of the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Xiaomi 17 might start in India at Rs 80,000, while the Xiaomi 17 Ultra might launch at a starting price of Rs 1,25,000.
To recall, the Xiaomi 17 was launched in China for CNY 4,499 (around Rs 58,425) for the 12GB+256GB variant. On the other hand, the Ultra variant costs CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs 90,915) for the 12GB+512GB model.
It is worth noting that the tipped price difference is significant, and if the Xiaomi 17 series launches in India at the tipped prices, it will compete directly with premium flagship devices such as Samsung Galaxy S series, iPhone Pro models, and other high-end offerings from OnePlus and Google.
However, as of now, this information should be taken with a pinch of salt, as it is based on a tip.
A recent report suggested that the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra might be launched in India by early March, following their global announcement at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, which will take place in Barcelona from March 2 to March 5.
