Notably, there is only one key difference between the two smartphones, which is their chipsets. While the V70 Elite packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which is widely considered a near-flagship chipset, the V70 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, a mid-range chipset.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset is said to be significantly better than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in terms of overall performance, including gaming and multitasking, and is more capable for intensive apps and longer-lasting in performance.

The Vivo V70 series price in India has been revealed officially.

Apart from this, most of the specifications of the Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 are the same, including their displays, camera setups, battery capacity and charging speeds.

Both phones offer a 6.59-inch 1.5K Ultra-Clear OLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits peak brightness.

They offer the same camera units, including the much-talked-about 50MP Zeiss Night Telephoto sensor. Along with that, they feature a 50MP Zeiss OIS main camera and an 8MP Zeiss ultrawide sensor. On the front, there's a 50MP Zeiss selfie sensor. This camera setup, headlined by Zeiss-powered sensors, can surely click great pictures in daylight.

In terms of battery, the V70 Elite and V70 house a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. We believe that a full day of use won't be a problem with this battery.

These smartphones run Android 16-based OriginOS 6, offering 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of software support, suggesting that they are expected to receive OS updates up to Android 20.

Furthermore, both smartphones are equipped with an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. That means they are dustproof and can survive submersion in fresh water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

In our opinion, we feel that the Vivo V70 Elite can be a better option among the two as it offers a flagship-grade chipset, which makes it far better for gaming, multitasking and long-term use.
