OnePlus 15s Tipped to Launch in India Soon, Likely to Be Rebrand of OnePlus 15T

The OnePlus 15s India launch is likely on the cards as the successor to the OnePlus 13s, and it could be a big upgrade this time, with features like a 165Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and a massive 7,500mAh battery.

Following a similar strategy, where the OnePlus 13s was introduced as a rebranded OnePlus 13T, the upcoming model is also expected to be based on the OnePlus 15T. Here's everything we know so far.

OnePlus 15s India Launch Tipped

On X (formerly Twitter), tipster Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata) has revealed that the upcoming OnePlus 15s will be announced in India in the late second quarter or in the third quarter.

It is worth noting that the OnePlus 13s was launched in India in June 2025, following the announcement of the OnePlus 13T in China in April 2025. Therefore, this suggests that OnePlus will likely follow the same pattern for the OnePlus 15s.

However, the official details regarding the OnePlus 15s are yet to be revealed.

OnePlus 15s Specifications (Expected)

If the OnePlus 15s launches as a rebrand of the OnePlus 15T, the OnePlus 15s will come as a compact flagship smartphone with a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, similar to the predecessor.

However, the 120Hz refresh rate will likely be upgraded to 165Hz with 3,600 nits peak brightness, offering smooth gameplay and enhanced visibility even when you are outdoors. The smartphone might include Crystal Shield Glass for display protection.

With the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the smartphone is expected to deliver strong everyday performance in terms of gaming, multitasking, and AI-driven tasks. Notably, this chipset is the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which powers the OnePlus 13s.

The new chipset is said to offer around 20–25 percent faster CPU speeds and roughly 23 percent higher graphics performance, along with better power efficiency compared to the predecessor.

Like the OnePlus 15T, the OnePlus 15s might ship with Android 16-based OxygenOS 16, offering 4 years of major Android OS upgrades and 6 years of security patches.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus 15s is expected to sport a 50MP OIS main camera and a 50MP OIS telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, which could offer better zoom clarity and more flexibility for portrait and long-distance shots compared to the 2x zoom on the OnePlus 13s.

To recall, the OnePlus 13s was launched in India for Rs 54,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, and the 12GB + 512GB model was announced for Rs 59,999. Though not confirmed, it suggests that the OnePlus 15s might be launched under Rs 60,000 in India.
