The Honor Magic V6 foldable smartphone has been launched as the successor to the Magic V5. The device features a slim design, large battery and flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It also packs a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display and advanced cameras, though its India launch remains uncertain.

With an aim to take on phones like the OPPO Find N5 or Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Honor has announced the Honor Magic V6 in China as a successor to the Magic V5. It is said to be the slimmest foldable smartphone, offering a thin design, large battery, and advanced features. Let us check out the price, features and other details the company has revealed officially.

Honor Magic V6 Price, Alternatives

The Honor Magic V6 has been launched in four storage variants starting at 8,999 CNY (approx. Rs 1,21,032) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. Meanwhile, the 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB storage variants are priced at 9,999 CNY (around Rs 1,34,509), 10,999 CNY (Rs 1,47,961 approximately) and 11,999 CNY (around Rs 1,61,414).

While this foldable device has been launched in China, it is unlikely to arrive for Indian consumers in the near term (or possibly at all soon) as Honor does not currently sell smartphones in the Indian market.

However, if the company launches the Honor Magic V6 in India, it might compete with phones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 (starts at Rs 1,79,999 for 12GB + 256GB), Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold (priced at Rs 1,72,999 for 16GB + 256GB), and Vivo X Fold 5 (available for Rs 1,49,999 for 16GB + 512GB).

Honor Magic V6 Specs

The newly launched Honor Magic V6 weighs around 219 grams and is said to be the slimmest foldable smartphone with 8.75mm thickness when folded.

The Honor Magic V6 flaunts a 7.95-inch 120Hz LTPO 2.0 AMOLED main display and a 6.5-inch 120Hz outer display, offering 6,000 nits peak brightness on the main display and 5,000 nits for the inner display with ultra-thin glass (UTG).

The foldable device by Honor is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is a flagship-grade chipset and is also equipped in phones like the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, OnePlus 15, and iQOO 15.

Notably, the chipset is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 internal storage, while the device runs Android 16-based MagicOS 10 with 7 major Android OS upgrades.

The Honor Magic V6 has made its debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026.

The Honor Magic V6 boasts a 50MP OIS main camera with an f/1.6 aperture, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with a 1/2-inch sensor with 3x optical zoom. It has a 20MP selfie camera on the front.

The Honor Magic V6's 1TB variant offers a 7,150mAh battery, while the 256GB and 512GB storage options house a 6,850mAh battery. It includes 80W wired fast charging, 66W wireless charging support and reverse wireless charging.

For durability, the phone packs IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Meanwhile, other features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, USB Type-C and more.

It is worth noting that the Honor Magic V6 first appeared at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 and is also expected to launch in global markets. However, it remains to be seen whether it will launch in India, though the chances appear to be low.
