The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 has kicked off in Barcelona, Spain, with several top brands showcasing their much-anticipated products at the global event. While Honor showcased its Robot Phone, alongside its thinnest foldable phone, the Magic V6, Xiaomi has unveiled the Leica Leitzphone, which offers physical controls for zoom and other settings. Honor Robot Phone

At the event, the smartphone brand showcased the Honor Robot Phone, which is said to be a futuristic smartphone concept from the brand. The major highlight of the Robot Phone is its inbuilt robotic pop-out camera arm with a compact motorised gimbal system.

The Honor Robot Phone is claimed to flaunt the industry's smallest 4DoF (4 degrees of freedom) gimbal, including 3-axis mechanical stabilisation, alongside AI enhancement.

The phone's main camera has a 200MP sensor, with the camera module having the ability to rotate, tilt, track moving subjects automatically, offer "cinematic" video recording, respond to voice, or dance to music.

The price of the Honor Robot Phone isn't know ye, but it is said that the phone will be available in China in the second half of this year.

Honor Magic V6 Foldable Phone

The Honor Magic V6 debuted at MWC 2026 and is touted to be the slimmest smartphone with 8.75mm thinness when folded and weighs around 219 grams.

It features a 7.95-inch 120Hz LTPO 2.0 AMOLED main display and a 6.5-inch display when folded, with 6,000 nits peak brightness on the main display and 5,000 nits for the inner display with ultra-thin glass (UTG). For durability, it packs IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The Honor Magic V6 launch is expected to take place soon in China following its announcement at the MWC 2026.

The newly showcased Honor Magic V6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 internal storage. It runs Android 16-based MagicOS 10, offering 7 major Android upgrades.

In terms of optics, the phone has a 50MP OIS main camera with an f/1.6 aperture, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with a 1/2-inch sensor, offering 3x optical zoom. For selfies, it has a 20MP selfie camera.

This foldable device houses a 6,660mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging support, along with reverse wireless charging capabilities.

Honor hasn't detailed the pricing and availability for the Honor Magic V6.

Leica Leitzphone by Xiaomi

The Leica Leitzphone by Xiaomi is a flagship smartphone similar to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, and its major highlights are its camera setup — including a 50MP 1-inch Light Fusion 1050L main camera, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 200MP Samsung HPE telephoto camera, alongside a 50MP selfie camera — and its flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

Along with that, the newly debuted phone has a 6.9-inch OLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,500 nits peak brightness, Pro HDR, Wet Touch technology, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and more. It houses a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Furthermore, the phone includes an IP68 rating.

It is worth noting that MWC 2026 will run till March 5, and we can expect many more announcements at the event, which is one of the major tech trade show and conference, organised by the GSMA. It brings together tech manufacturers, network providers and startups, to showcase the latest innovations.
