Smartphone brand Vivo has silently announced the Vivo X300 FE in Russia, marking its debut in the global market. The Vivo X300 FE is touted to be a rebrand variant of the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, which is limited to China. This compact phone features an AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera, a 6,500mAh battery, and more. The Vivo X300 FE is listed on the e-commerce platform OZON for RUB 60,124, which translates to Rs 70,726 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. Meanwhile, the 12GB + 512GB model costs RUB 64,405, approximately Rs 75,762.
Vivo has listed the phone on its site, but it has not revealed the official price for the Russian market at the time of writing.
While the India price of the Vivo X300 FE isn't confirmed yet, a recent tip suggested that the phone might launch for around Rs 60,000.
To recall, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini was announced in China for CNY 3,699, which is around Rs 49,129, for the base variant. This suggests that the Vivo X300 FE might be costlier in the global markets.
The Vivo X300 FE is available in Moonlight White, Cool Purple, and Graphite Black colours in the global market.
The Vivo X300 FE boasts a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits local peak brightness. This is similar to the Vivo X300, which was launched in India in December 2025.
Contrary to the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset included in the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro, this compact device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which is a near-flagship chipset offering strong performance for gaming and multitasking.
Notably, this chipset also powers phones like the iQOO 15R, OnePlus 15R, and Motorola Signature.
The Vivo X300 FE runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6, offering five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
In terms of optics, the Vivo X300 FE sports a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP IMX882 telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, it packs a 50MP camera on the front.
The Vivo X300 FE packs a 6,500mAh battery, which is comparatively bigger than the 6,040mAh battery available on the Vivo X300. It supports 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging support.
Other key features of the phone include IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Furthermore, it also includes a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 6.0, and more.
