Following the launch of the Tecno Pova Curve 5G in India in 2025, the company has announced that its successor, Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G, is all set to arrive in India this month. Notably, the company has teased the smartphone's design as well of the upcoming smartphone. Let us take a look at the confirmed and expected details of the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G.
Via X (formerly Twitter), the company has confirmed that the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G will be launched in India on February 13th.
The launch poster also confirms that the upcoming Pova Curve 2 5G will be available in shades of Black, Blue and Grey.
Through the teaser, the company has revealed the design of the back panel. Meanwhile, the front will feature a curved display.
Regarding the back panel of the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G, it appears to feature a matte finish with subtle geometric lines, and the camera module is asymmetrical, placed in a horizontal pill-shaped housing at the top with a circular lens below it.
There’s a small accent window near the bottom corner with transparent-style elements, and the company branding id done at he left bottom. Meanwhile, the power and volume keys appear to be placed on the right edge.
Notably, the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G will come as the successor of the Tecno Pova Curve 5G and may retain some of its features.
To recall, the predecessor was launched at a starting price of Rs 15,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant and packs a 6.78-inch FHD+ 144Hz 3D curved AMOLED display and up to 1300 nits peak brightness.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset. It runs Android-15 HiOS 15 based on Android 15, with a promise of Android 16 update and 2 years of security updates.
The Tecno Pova Curve 5G packs a 64MP primary camera with a Sony IMX682 sensor and f/1.7 aperture, a 2MP portrait camera with f/2.4 aperture, and an LED flash. On the front, there's a 13MP selfie camera.
This Tecno phone has a 5,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
