Tech giant Samsung has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G as the successor to the Galaxy A06 5G in Thailand. The Galaxy A07 5G comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display, a 6,000mAh battery, an IP54 rating, and much more. Notably, the smartphone offers some notable upgrades compared to its predecessor. The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G comes in two storage variants - 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB - priced at THB 5,499 (approximately Rs 15,768) and THB 5,999 (around Rs 17,201).
The newly announced Samsung Galaxy A07 5G can be purchased in two colour options - Black and Light Violet.
The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits peak brightness. To recall, the predecessor smartphone features only up to a 90Hz refresh rate.
In terms of chipset, the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G is powered by a 6nm octa-core chipset, similar to the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which is equipped in the Galaxy A06 5G. It is paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card.
This Samsung smartphone runs Android 16 with One UI 8, and the company promises six major Android updates along with six years of security patches.
The all-new Samsung Galaxy A07 5G houses a 6,000mAh battery, compared to the 5,000mAh battery in the Galaxy A06 5G. This Samsung phone supports 25W charging, similar to its predecessor.
The camera setup of the Galaxy A07 5G remains unchanged compared to the Galaxy A06 5G, as this smartphone also features a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear, along with an 8MP selfie camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G also packs an IP54 dust and splash resistance rating, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port, among several other features.
It is worth noting that Samsung has not revealed details of the smartphone's India launch. However, it is expected that the Galaxy A07 5G might launch soon in the country as an affordable smartphone.
