The Lava Blaze Duo, announced in 2024, is now getting its successor, the Lava Blaze Duo 3. Like its predecessor, the Lava Blaze Duo 3 will feature a secondary AMOLED display on the rear panel. While the launch date of the smartphone is yet to be announced, let us take a look at what the company has revealed so far about the upcoming smartphone, including its design, along with its expected details.
The yet-to-be-announced Lava Blaze Duo 3 will sport a dual-screen design, with an AMOLED display on the front and a small 1.6-inch secondary AMOLED screen on the rear, placed on the rectangular camera module.
Notably, the secondary display can be used for viewing notifications, controlling music, or taking selfies. The overall design maintains a slim and clean profile. Notably, this kind of display is also seen on the Xiaomi 17 Pro.
The volume and power keys are placed on the right edge of the Lava Blaze Duo 3 and offer a minimalist design with a flat frame and a glossy rear panel.
Notably, the camera module also suggests a 50MP AI primary camera, along with another sensor.
While Lava has not revealed any specifications of the Blaze Duo 3, a tipster on X (formerly Twitter) has shared the key specifications of the smartphone.
As per tipster Sanju Choudhary, the Lava Blaze Duo 3 will flaunt a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, similar to its predecessor.
While the Lava Blaze Duo is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 SoC, the Lava Blaze Duo 3 might pack the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, which is said to be a capable mid-range 5G processor.
In terms of battery, the Lava Blaze Duo 3 is expected to house a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, similar to the predecessor.
The Lava Blaze Duo was announced in India at a starting price of Rs 16,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant, while the higher 8GB+128GB storage model was launched for Rs 17,999. However, if the tipster is to be believed, the upcoming Lava Blaze Duo 3 will be priced around Rs 15,000 in India. However, he did not detail which storage variant this price will apply to.
We might have to wait a few days to know the phone’s official specifications and pricing, as it is expected to launch in the country soon.
