Shifting the focus away from endless content consumption, Clicks Technology has introduced a compact smartphone designed primarily for communication. Called the Clicks Communicator, the phone features a physical 4.03-inch AMOLED display and a QWERTY keyboard.
The smartphone supports core messaging apps, with the company positioning it as a device meant to encourage focused communication and everyday tasks rather than prolonged social media use.
Check out the complete features, price, and all the key details of the Clicks Communicator phone.
The Clicks Communicator will be offered at a launch price of USD 499, which roughly translates to Rs 44,872. However, this is not the official Indian price.
Customers who place a reservation before February 27 can avail early access pricing. This includes an option to pay a USD 199 deposit to secure an early bird price of USD 399, or pay the full USD 399 upfront, which also includes two additional back covers.
The Clicks Communicator phone has been launched in three colour options — Clover, Onyx, and Smoke.
The Clicks Communicator measures 131.5mm in height and weighs 170 grams. According to the company, the phone has a compact form factor that is easy to carry in a pocket and feels balanced when held in the hand.
With its physical QWERTY keyboard and compact build, the Clicks Communicator brings back the feel of classic BlackBerry smartphones. It features a small, square touchscreen at the top and a full keyboard below, designed for easy two-thumb typing. The overall design is focused on communication and one-handed use rather than long scrolling or media consumption.
The Clicks Communicator builds on the company’s Clicks Keyboard case and includes a physical keyboard with larger, contoured keys designed to make typing quicker and more comfortable. The keyboard also supports touch input, allowing users to scroll through messages, lists, and web pages without using the touchscreen.
The phone features a dedicated Prompt Key for voice input. Pressing and holding the key allows users to dictate messages, while releasing it sends the text. When not typing, the same key can be used to start a voice recording.
The Clicks Communicator flaunts a 4.03-inch AMOLED display and includes an OIS-enabled 50MP rear camera and a 24MP front camera for video calls.
The phone packs a 4,000mAh carbon battery and supports Qi2 wireless charging along with USB-C charging. It runs on Android 16.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax), along with 5G, 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G network support. Its SIM support includes nano SIM and eSIM, and it also comes with a 3.5mm wired audio jack.
While the company did not reveal the processor and RAM details, it mentioned that the Clicks Communicator offers 256GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card.
