A recent report suggests that smartphone brand Vivo is likely planning to launch the Vivo V70 series in February for Indian consumers. The series is expected to feature two devices - Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite. While Vivo is yet to make that official, a new report has surfaced online, which details the price range, processors, and other key details of both the smartphones.
Let us take a look at the expected details of the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite before the company makes them official in India.
Citing tipster Yogesh Brar, a report by SmartPrix suggests that the Vivo V70 series might be expected to be priced competitively under Rs 55,000. Notably, the Vivo V60 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 36,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. Meanwhile, the Elite model is launching for the first time in the series.
As per the report, the Vivo V70 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which was also equipped in the Vivo V60, launched last year.
Meanwhile, the Vivo V70 Elite will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. This chipset is said to be designed for affordable flagship smartphones with efficiency for gaming, connectivity, and AI.
Based on speculations, it is said that the Vivo V70 Elite will be the top-end variant of the series and is expected to be a rebranded variant of the Vivo S50, which was announced in China in December 2025.
The Vivo S50 packs a 6.59-inch AMOLED 120Hz display and 5,000 nits of peak brightness, and is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, expected to be featured in the V70 Elite, paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
The Vivo S50 sports a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, the phone has a 50MP selfie camera.
In terms of battery, the Vivo S50 packs a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. Other notable features include an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, Bluetooth 5.4, and more.
