Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy Unpacked 2026 will take place on February 25, where it is expected to unveil the Samsung Galaxy S26 series phones, including the Samsung Galaxy S26+. Ahead of the official announcement, the global variant of the Galaxy S26+ has appeared on Geekbench, revealing some key information of the phone, including its chipset and RAM. Let us take a look at the details of the Galaxy S26+ surfaced through the benchmarking platform.

Samsung Galaxy S26+ Global Variant Geekbench Listing

Spotted by tech blogger Anvin on X, the Geekbench listing shows that the global variant of the upcoming Galaxy S26+ will feature the Exynos 2600 chipset, similar to the South Korean variant.

The global variant of the Samsung Galaxy S26+ has appeared online ahead of expected launch.

However, the Galaxy S26+ might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset in the US, as a US edition of the Galaxy S26 was recently spotted on Geekbench with the same chipset.

The current listing shows that the phone has scored 2,304 and 9,015 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

Along with that, the Geekbench listing also suggests that the Galaxy S26+ will feature at least 12GB of RAM and will run Android 16.

Though these details are not officially confirmed, they align with some recent leaks. However, the official details will be revealed at the event.

Samsung Galaxy S26+ Specs (Expected)

The Samsung Galaxy S26+ sits between the Samsung Galaxy S26 and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and it is expected to offer a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Armor 2.

Recent reports also suggest that the phone will be equipped with the Exynos 2600 deca-core processor in most regions and will be paired with at least 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S26+ is expected to run on Android 16-based One UI 8.5.

In terms of optics, the Galaxy S26+ might feature a 50MP OIS-enabled primary camera, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, there might be a 12MP selfie camera.

Though not confirmed, the upcoming Galaxy S26+ is expected to pack a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging support.
