Notably, the phone features a rear panel design similar to the Google Pixel 10 series and iPhone Air, with a horizontal camera module. It introduces a unique 'Selfie Mirror Phone' feature with an inbuilt mirror in the rear camera module for instant selfie preview.

The Realme 16 5G will boast a compact 6.57-inch display with 4,200 nits of peak brightness. To recall, the predecessor was announced with a 6.8-inch display offering 6,500 nits of peak brightness, which is comparatively bigger than the upcoming Realme 16 5G.
The phone is quite lightweight and weighs just 183 grams, and measures only 8.1mm in thickness.
The phone will pack a 50MP Sony main camera as well as a 50MP sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone is also confirmed to pack a 7,000mAh battery with 60W wired charging. While the battery capacity remains the same, the charging speed is downgraded from 80W to 60W compared to the Realme 15 5G.
The Realme 16 5G will include a massive 6,050 sq mm vapour chamber (VC) cooling layer that covers a large portion of the phone's internals. The company claims that this cooling solution will keep the phone smooth and cool even during heavy gaming and intensive multitasking.
The Realme 16 5G will ship with Realme UI 7 based on Android 16, and is confirmed to offer three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates.
Furthermore, this Realme phone will include an IP69 rating, indicating that the phone is fully dust-tight and protected against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.
