Smartphone brand Nothing has skipped the launch of the Nothing Phone 4 in 2026 and is preparing to unveil the Phone 4a series instead. Nothing CEO Carl Pei recently confirmed that the company is focusing on levelling up the A-series, which might include the Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro, and now the brand has teased the launch of the Nothing Phone 4a series. Through X (formerly Twitter), Nothing has teased the Nothing Phone 4a series, although the company has not revealed the full moniker of the device.

The teaser features multiple colours, which could point to the colour options for the Phone 4a series smartphones. The colours visible include black, white, yellow, blue, and pink. Notably, the Nothing Phone 3a was launched in black and white colour options.

Apart from this, no other details have been revealed through the teaser. It does, however, mention "soon", suggesting that the Phone 4a series could be unveiled in the near future.

Though not officially confirmed, a recent report suggested that the Nothing Phone 4a series phones might be launched globally by early March, suggesting that they might go official during the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which is scheduled to take place in Barcelona from March 2 to March 5.

The Nothing Phone 4a Pro is expected feature a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. It might be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Both phones might house a 5,080mAh battery with 50W fast charging support, OS and security updates for at least five years, and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
