The smartphone offers up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage and ships with Nothing OS 4.1, based on Android 16**,** out of the box, offering three OS updates and six years of security patches.

Furthermore, the phone is equipped with an IP65 rating, indicating slightly better resistance against dust and low-pressure water jets.

Is the Nothing Phone 4a Pro worth buying? (Updated)

The Nothing Phone 4a Pro brings a refreshed design, a clean Android-based software experience, upgraded hardware, and new Glyph lighting features compared to its predecessor. Starting at Rs 39,999, it sits in the competitive upper mid-range segment.

However, buyers in this price range also have several strong alternatives to consider, such as the OnePlus Nord 6, which starts at Rs 38,999, or the POCO X8 Pro Max, which comes for Rs 42,999.

It is worth noting that the OnePlus Nord 6 offers stronger overall performance with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a massive 9,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, a 165Hz AMOLED display, and long-term software support. It is the best choice for performance, battery life, and smooth daily usage.

On the other hand, the POCO X8 Pro Max comes with a flagship-grade MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, the same 9,000mAh battery and faster 100W charging support, and IP69K durability. It delivers the best raw power and value for heavy users and gamers.

If you want the best balance of performance, battery, and software, you can go for the OnePlus Nord 6. However, you can pick the POCO X8 Pro Max if you want maximum power, faster charging, and higher RAM/storage. Go for Nothing Phone 4a Pro if you prefer its unique design, telephoto camera, and clean UI.
