After being showcased at CES 2026, the Motorola Signature will likely be unveiled soon for Indian consumers. The smartphone is a high-end device and features a 165Hz refresh rate, 6,200 nits peak brightness, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a 5,200mAh battery, and much more.
Motorola hasn’t disclosed any details regarding the same, but a tipster has revealed the India launch date and price of the newly announced smartphone. Let us take a look at the leaked details of the Motorola Signature ahead of its official announcement.
While the Motorola Signature is already available in select markets, tipster Sanju Choudhary on X (formerly Twitter) revealed that the upcoming smartphone will be launched in India on January 23.
The Motorola Signature was globally announced for £899.99. However, the tipster mentions that the box price of the Motorola Signature is Rs 84,999 for the 16GB+1TB storage variant. Therefore, we might expect it to be unveiled around the same price in India.
The Motorola Signature flaunts a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED LTPO 165Hz display with 6,200 nits peak brightness and HDR10+. It is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP Sony LYTIA 828 main camera, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. The front boasts a 50MP Sony LYTIA 500 selfie camera.
In terms of chipset, the phone packs the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and runs Android 16, with a promise of up to seven years of Android OS and security updates. It is equipped with a 5,200mAh battery with 90W TurboPower charging support and 50W wireless charging. For protection against dust, high-pressure water jets, and underwater immersion, it has IP68/IP69 ratings and MIL-STD-810H certification.
It is worth noting that the Motorola Signature is one of the most anticipated smartphones at the moment, and it could impress many Indian users if it launches soon in the country. While official details are still unknown, if this leaked launch date turns out to be true, we might soon see an official teaser. Stay tuned for more updates.
