iQOO 15R India Launch Set For February 24: Here’s What We Know

While not confirmed, the upcoming iQOO 15R might launch in India as a rebrand of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which was launched recently in China as an affordable mid-range smartphone.

Following a teaser by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya, the iQOO 15R India launch date has been officially announced. While not confirmed, the iQOO 15R is expected to be a rebrand of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which was launched recently in China.

Notably, the iQOO Z11 Turbo features a 144Hz AMOLED display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, a 200MP main camera, and more. Let us check out the details of the iQOO 15R, including its launch date, availability, and expected specifications.

iQOO 15R India Launch Date

iQOO notes that "the wait is finally over!" revealing that the iQOO 15R will be launched in India next month on February 24.

It has also been confirmed that the iQOO 15R will run on OriginOS and will be available through Amazon post-launch in the country.

The smartphone brand will unveil all the key details at the launch or in the coming days. However, the design of the iQOO 15R is similar to the recently launched iQOO Z11 Turbo.

With that, we can say that the iQOO 15R will likely offer a 6.59-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display and up to 5000 nits of peak brightness. It is expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.

In terms of cameras, the upcoming iQOO 15R might sport a 200MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor on the rear. On the front, the smartphone will house a 32MP selfie sensor.

Like the iQOO Z11 Turbo, the iQOO 15R is expected to pack a 7,600mAh battery with 100W fast charging support and will run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6.
