Nothing Confirms Phone 4a Launch Date with Not-So-Subtle Jab at Apple

The company has confirmed that the Nothing Phone 4a series will be announced on March 5.

Following several speculations and teasers, London-based Nothing has officially revealed the launch date of the upcoming Nothing Phone 4a series. This comes shortly after the announcement of Apple's next event, with CEO Carl Pei taking a playful dig by sharing Apple’s invite edited with spray-painted Nothing branding. Nothing Phone 4a Series Launch Date

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the company has confirmed that the Nothing Phone 4a series will be announced on March 5, just a day after the Apple Event.

Though not confirmed, the yet-to-be-announced series will include two smartphones -- Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro. More details will be revealed at the launch.

Nothing Phone 4a Series Colour Options

It is expected that the Phone 4a will be offered in Black and White colours, while the Phone 4a Pro might be unveiled in Black and Silver colours. Meanwhile, the pink spray paint used by the CEO on the Apple event invite hints at a vibrant pink colour variant.

Nothing Phone 4a Series Specs (Expected)

While the official details will be confirmed at the launch, recent speculations hint at a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness for the Pro variant.

Additionally, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, as suggested by a recent Geekbench listing.

In terms of battery, the Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro are expected to feature a 5,080mAh battery with 50W fast charging.

Furthermore, they might come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, at least five years of OS and security updates, and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
