Google has officially announced the pre-orders date and has also teased its design aand a colour option for the upcoming A-series smartphone will begin. The phone will arrive as the successor to the Pixel 9a, which was launched in India for Rs 49,999 and comes in a single 8GB+256GB configuration.
Tech giant Google is gearing up to launch the much-awaited Google Pixel 10a in India, with pre-orders opening on February 18, 2026. The tech giant has officially revealed the Pixel 10a’s design and colour options, giving Android fans something to look forward to as Valentine's Day approaches.
Usually, Google positions the “a” series phones as mid-range powerhouses that deliver Google’s clean Android OS, reliable cameras, and slim body profiles at competitive pricing for Indian consumers. We expect the Google Pixel 10a’s price to follow the same guideline. The Google Pixel 10a launches as the successor to the Google Pixel 9a, which was launched earlier in April 2025. Let’s take a look at what Google has revealed about the Pixel 10a so far.
Through a YouTube Video, the tech giant has confirmed that the Google Pixel 10a will be available for pre-orders starting February 18, including in India.
Additionally, the tech giant is inviting users to sign up to be the first to get information about the upcoming Google Pixel 10a’s availability in India as well as globally.
Google noted that, as part of an exclusive offer for Google Store subscribers, those who sign up by February 13 at 1:29 PM (IST) will receive an email with their offer on the day pre-orders begin, which can be applied during the Pixel 10a purchase.
In terms of design, we can say that the yet-to-be-launched Google Pixel 10a retains a similar design to the Pixel 9a.
This A-series smartphone comes with flat frames, a matte back panel, and a dual rear camera setup with a near-flush camera island, along with the Google logo centred on the back.
Meanwhile, the power and volume keys are placed on the left edge of the Google Pixel 10a.
While the front panel of the upcoming smartphone hasn’t been teased officially, some leaks suggest that it carries visible bezels around the corners.
The teaser reveals the Google Pixel 10a will be available in Lavender colour. However, this affordable smartphone is also expected to come in Obsidian, Berry, and Fog colours, alongside the Lavender colour option.
Though not confirmed, a recent report suggests that the Google Pixel 10a might feature similar specs compared to the predecessor, with a 6.285-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of optics, this A-series phone will feature a dual camera setup, likely consisting of a 48MP primary camera and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. Meanwhile, there might be a 13MP selfie camera on the front.
Furthermore, the upcoming Google Pixel 10a is expected to house a 5,100mAh battery like its predecessor. It might be offered in two storage variants -- 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.
Notably, these details about the upcoming Google Pixel 10a are based on leaks and rumours and should be taken with a grain of salt. That said, with the official announcement expected in the coming weeks, more concrete information should surface soon. Stay tuned for updates.
The same report suggests the Pixel 10a might come for 500 euros, which roughly translates to Rs 53,290, for the 8GB+128GB model. Meanwhile, the 8GB+256GB configuration will launch for 600 euros, approximately Rs 63,942, which is slightly lower than the Pixel 9a’s launch price.
Notably, the Pixel 9a was launched at a starting price of 549 euros in global markets for the 128GB variant, while in India it was announced at Rs 49,999 for the sole 256GB model.
