Though not confirmed, Vivo may launch a new smartphone with a 12,000mAh battery capacity. Currently, the Realme P4 Power is one of the very few phones offering a 10,000mAh battery at around Rs 25,000.
Vivo is reportedly working on a new phone that will house a massive battery exceeding 10,000mAh. Notably, this isn't official yet, but a tipster has shared that Vivo is testing a phone with a 12,000mAh battery.
While there are only a few smartphones available in the market offering a 10,000mAh battery, such as the Realme P4 Power or Honor Win, this upcoming Vivo phone may push the limits even further. Here's more about the expected smartphone.
Via Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) suggested that Vivo is testing a new smartphone that will feature a massive battery.
As per the tipster, the smartphone is said to use a 4.53V single-cell silicon battery with a rated capacity of 10,000mAh.
Meanwhile, the battery is said to have a typical capacity ranging between 11,000mAh and 12,000mAh.

It is worth noting that phones with a 10,000mAh battery capacity are still rare. Therefore, bringing a phone with a 12,000mAh battery would surely help the brand get more users. But the design aspect and price point are also important to consider. It is believed that phones with massive battery capacity are pricey and bulky.
However, the recently launched Realme P4 Power is one of the rare smartphones in India that offer a 10,001mAh battery. It weighs around 219 grams with slim design and is available at a starting price of Rs 25,999 on Flipkart.
On the other hand, the Honor Win also offers a similar 10,000mAh battery but weighs around 229 grams. It is not available in India, but in China it costs 3,999 CNY (approx. Rs 52,816) for the base 12GB + 256GB variant. However, its highlight is its flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and an enhanced camera unit.
For now, it remains unclear whether Vivo will officially launch this smartphone and what price and design it will carry. Stay tuned for more updates.
