After being teased, the OnePlus Pad 4 is now official in India as the successor to the OnePlus Pad 3. It comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 13,380mAh battery, a 144Hz display, and more. In terms of specifications and design, the tablet appears identical to the recently launched OPPO Pad 5 Pro. Here are the price, specs, and other key details of the OnePlus Pad 4.

To recall, the OnePlus Pad 3 is currently available in India for Rs 49,999 and Rs 54,999 for the 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB models, respectively. This clearly suggests that the tablet is priced higher than its predecessor, a noticeable price hike of around Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000, and also comes with downgraded RAM configurations. OnePlus Pad 4 Design

The OnePlus Pad 4 offers a clean and minimal look with a smooth matte-finished metal unibody that gives it a premium feel, offering a similar design to the OPPO Pad 5 Pro.

On the back, the tablet features a slightly raised, pill-shaped camera module positioned at the top corner, housing a single camera sensor along with an LED flash arranged vertically.

The OnePlus branding sits neatly at the centre.

The device comes with flat edges and a slim profile, complemented by rounded corners that improve both aesthetics and in-hand comfort.

At the front, it sports a flat display with slim bezels. Meanwhile, the power and volume buttons are located on the right edge.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus Pad 4 sports a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, similar to the OnePlus Pad 3.

The tablet packs a 13,380mAh battery, slightly bigger than the 12,140mAh battery on the OnePlus Pad 3. The 13,380mAh battery is claimed to offer up to 54 days of standby time, up to 20 hours of video playback, and up to 7 hours of gaming.

However, the 80W fast charging support has been retained in the Pad 4, which likely takes approximately 45 to 55 minutes to charge the tablet from 0 percent to 100 percent.

Is the OnePlus Pad 4 Worth Buying?

The OnePlus Pad 4 is a decent tablet with a premium design, large and smooth display, and a powerful chipset. However, at Rs 59,999, it feels slightly expensive, especially considering the base variant comes with only 8GB RAM, and there is a noticeable price increase compared to the OnePlus Pad 3.

If you are looking for better value, there are stronger alternatives available.

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, at around Rs 39,998, currently offers the best overall package with a 13-inch 3.5K 144Hz display, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, and excellent stylus support.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+, which starts at Rs 61,999, is a solid choice for those who prefer Samsung’s ecosystem. It features a Super AMOLED display, an S Pen included, and longer software updates.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Pad 8, available for Rs 33,999 for the base variant, delivers strong Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 performance, a bright 144Hz display, and great overall value at a significantly lower price.

Unless you are deeply invested in the OnePlus ecosystem or get a heavy discount on the Pad 4, it is better to go with the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 for the best value right now.
