As a successor to the Google Pixel 9a, the tech giant has unveiled its new budget-friendly A-series phone, the Google Pixel 10a. The Google Pixel 10a price in India is similar to the predecessor, and features a 120Hz refresh rate, the Google Tensor G4 chipset, slightly more than a 5,000mAh battery capacity, and much more. The Google Pixel 10a has been announced in single storage variants -- 8GB+256GB -- priced at Rs 49,999. It is available for pre-order via Flipkart and will be available for purchase starting March 6.

The Google Pixel 10a has been unveiled in four colour options, including Berry, Fog, Lavender, and Obsidian.
The Google Pixel 10a sports a 6.3-inch OLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, HDR support, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Notably, the display size is similar to the Google Pixel 9a.
Like the predecessor, the Pixel 10a features the Google Tensor G4, equipped with a Titan M2 security chip. The chipset is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The Google Pixel 10a runs Android 16, offering 7 years of OS and security updates.
Similar to the Pixel 9a, the camera module of the Pixel 10a sports an OIS-enabled 48MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the Pixel 10a packs a 13MP ultra-wide-angle front-facing camera.
The newly launched Pixel 10a has a 5,100mAh battery, similar to what we saw on the predecessor. The company claims it can reach up to 50 percent charge in about 30 minutes with a 45W USB-C charger. It also supports wireless charging (Qi-certified) support.
For protection against dust and water, the Pixel 10a is equipped with an IP68 rating. Along with that, it supports satellite emergency call support, stereo speakers, and weighs around 183 grams.
While the specs of the Google Pixel 10a largely look similar to its predecessor, the Pixel 10a features a “bumpless” back. It also introduces Satellite SOS for emergencies, a first for the A-series. The display offers up to 3,000 nits peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Along with the hardware changes, the Pixel 10a also brings incremental upgrades in connectivity and features. Wireless charging speeds have been improved to 10W Qi, compared to around 7.5W on the Pixel 9a in real-world usage. The phone also upgrades to Bluetooth 6 from Bluetooth 5.3, promising better efficiency and range.
Google has additionally introduced several AI-powered camera and software features from the Pixel 10 series to the A-series lineup. These include Camera Coach, which offers Gemini-powered photography guidance, and Auto Best Take, which automatically selects the best expressions in group photos.
